Cotillion - n. A formal ball, especially one at which young women are presented to society or a lively dance, originating in France in the 18th century, having varied, intricate patterns and steps.

Since 1959 the Cotillion room has been the site for larger groups. The space is comprised of three rooms: the Gallery, the Sun Porch and the Cotillion room. The Sun Porch overlooks the South lawn and the gazebo.
